For once I thought I entered Cloud Cuccoo (you'll know if you've watched Lego-movie before) Totally in love with how nature's always a beauty, Alhamdulillah. Yes, the diff shades of blues are to die for, amazinnnnnng esp to a blue-turquoise lovahhhh like me!
DAY 1:
Welcome to Phuket!
We hop onto 7-seater taxi (when there's actually 5) & we recce for tours etc so the guys had to do some talking with the driver. I was surprised when I heard "I'm a Muslim, assalamu'alaikum!" from the driver. Then he recommend us his company's tour, he even drop us to their office to sort out the tour stuffs. We got our next two days (full day 9am-4.30pm activities/island hopping + buffet lunch + boat) covered, only with 4.7million Thai Baht (S$184)
(Shit I got to type asap cause my eyes kinda bit weighty)
For a moment I thought I was in the streets of bali but, no, it's similar to bali but I prefer Phuket's road traffic + how easy we can find Halal food!
This restaurant serves us our very first meal in Phuket, and guess what? They serve damn good pad-thai, green curry, fried rice, spicy noodle, pineapple fried rice. Pax of 5 with a bill of 350-500 Thai baht (S$13-20)
After a damn full tummy, we head back to relax/sleep/unpack but hey I spotted this massage parlour which offers service from head to bottom. Just 2 minutes away from my inn!
Foot massage @ 250 Thai baht (S$9.80)
Thai massage (full bod w/o oil) @ 250 Thai baht (S$9.80)
Thai massage (full bod w oil) @ 300 Thai baht (S$11.80)
Do you think sg offers that kind of prices for massage? AH NO MAN, ONLY IN PHUKET!
Day 2:
Oh, the weather..............was scorching hot!
Maybe because I was in the middle of the ocean & on an island but.......,hey this was what I've been looking for; sun, sand & sea. Not to mention, TAN LINES hehehe!
First island was just a pass-by at the monkey island,
whereby basically the captain throw bananas over to the monkey and they fed on it while.....we were on the boat just like this one below!
Next, anchored @ snorkeling point!
Next Island hopping to: Maya bay
Lastly, Khai island - known for its nemo fishes. One thing I hate about this place was that the shore was covered with broken shells, small/med rocks and walking barefoot on that hmmm not a good idea!
& here's my four local swimmer, basically if I would to struggle underwater I have 4 to save me (but no thanks I didn't drown!)
For dinner; We were shocked to know that infront of our inn, they had a spread of seafood shops which only starts from 5pm till the wee hours.
With those foods, 5pax bill of 400-600 Thai baht (S$15-23) DAMN CHEAP, DAMN AWESOME (especially the tom yum, eventhough it's too spicy I just can't stop having the serving till it literally ran out of soup!) We came here twice, first night & second night, Here's to the best seafood I've ever tasted in Phuket!
Day 3; This time was a fun-boring trip. Fun when we were on canoe to caves & etc, boring to when they jump off the ship and got a chance to swim, I DID NOT BECAUSE I COULD TRAP WATER HAIS! So I was sitting at the ship looking like a dumb person (I wasn't the only one though!)
Overall, this is the best ever Asia trip ever. I have no problem with hiking or sleeping in a budget hotel, as long I get to go out and witness the beauty while it last because I know this is what travelers do. And this is what I want to do: backpacking & explore! I am ready to go through the parts and parcel of traveling with him around, as long as he's there + happy, i couldn't ask for more.
Thanks love you this wonderful birthday trip ever, & to everyone who have been with us. Appreciate everyone!
