I'm here to definitely brag about ydy! Ydy has been a joyful day for myself and teacher firemen, a damn great day for both! I guess Friday always gives out extra luck hehe, but hey, first let me take a selfie~
Not forgetting, officially on the 11 April 2014 I had my 5km Electric Run! Yes, it was my very first participation in that kind of event but hell yeah I'm gonna assure you, there's gonna be more of it!
You see, the background wasn't that crowded so I guess we are not the only late comers! We came way later than what we planned, we even had our brunch @ Funan's Qiji. Initially this is our plan: to reach at around 4ish so that we are on time for the first wave which will be released only at 8 sharp. But then, eventually: We reach at 7/8ish? No joke but there's nothing to rush to so we do it on our own pace! Actually, we are king of person which does not follow/believe in plans, we'd rather do something if it pops out unintendedly.
We had to join the queue & wait to be at the front so that my wave will be released. Meanwhile we stood to not nothing but loud musics & the host was throwing light sticks/shirts/foam sticks/ headbands from the top!
Running with the person you cherish & love most, that feeling is the best! Running to the Neffmau 5 Lands was an awesome experienced for me. I was too enthusiastic about it that I actually run/jog from the starting point till the end! HEY MY FIRST 5KM, damn girl I have to get rewarded for this hehe!
This was one out of 5 lands that I managed to take, other that than he was too busy having a good time with the gopro taking videos, going under people with it (urgh), kissing it at the end of the vids that we took, oh god! Thank god i was glad he's having fun cause hey he got a gadget in his hands & the event was an amazing life-time experience!
& here's a selfie @ finisher line! Well done, my dear self! Hehehe felt so good to run that 5km after.....so long of not doing so, I guess I deserve a tap on my shoulders! Hehe 5km unlock, now more of it before we unlock another mission!
Before we eventually sat down to cool down, we had a can of h2o then to the after party........where everyone is so sweaty and eww the smell oh my goodness. For someone short like me, having people armpits directly at my face, glad that he's around at that moment to pull my head back hahaha I'd rather smell his than those strangers!
You see those light-sticks, hehe I brought a few of it back home as a gift from Electric Run. But soon, the colors gonna fade and no more lights :(
Eventually, life's the same too. Never stick around for too long, because the happiness, it's just temparory x
